Mark and his experienced team built us a beautiful deck, better than we had expected. Mark is seriously the best in this business.  You know your deck is way past it's time when the nails are constantly catching your shoes and/ or tripping you up.

In the middle of our old deck is a beloved mulberry tree on which we'd just blew thousands of dollars to save it from certain death 2 years ago, so I wanted a deck that's done right the first time. I didn't see any other deck builders who did a lot of work around trees (that I would feel confident about).

We also have skunks and raccoons who liked to come hang out under the old deck, so that's something I was looking to put an end to. If you've ever had to wash a skunked bratty dog on Sunday at 9:50PM for two hours with Dawn soap, you'd understand why I'm not keen on sharing a deck with wildlife. Mark listened to all these challenges and addressed them in the construction. He made design suggestions that I hadn't thought of, and always answered questions promptly.

Our project took exactly two weeks. In this case you do get what you pay for. Mark has one of the best teams we've ever experienced. On time/ five minutes early every single day, meticulously neat and tidy not only around our yard but also in their craft. We found a chip in one of the already installed planks and the team took it out even though they had to backtrack and redo a few sections. Mark wasn't happy with a fascia board around the tree opening and he would not take my final payment until his carpenter fixed it.

When you look at pictures of his projects, the work speaks for itself.

If you want to have a deck built properly and done right the first time, you won't regret using M&M Builders.

I cannot recommend this company enough!  For over a year, I interviewed various companies to rebuild my multi-level deck (huge project).  After reviewing several proposals and personally meeting the company managers, I decided to go with M & M Builders... and I'm SO glad I did!  Mark is not only incredibly nice, but his proposals are very thorough and his work is beyond excellent.  His guys started the project on time every single day and never left the job site early. They ensured the place was cleaned up at the end of each day and did their best not to bother my family during the whole process.  Everyone who worked on the project was so very nice and respectful. The best part is that I am far more impressed with my new deck than I ever expected!  It's absolutely beautiful and very well built.  I've already recommended this company to my family members and friends, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in building a new deck or having their deck re-built. We bought a house with an arbor that was installed in 2019 that was peeling away from the house. We contacted Mark and while our repair job was a bit too small for his crew to be sent out (or rather it would be too expensive and he didn't want us to overpay), Mark took the time to look at the pictures I sent him and talk to me on the phone for 10 minutes and give me a lot of great advice for next steps. He also offered to help personally if we couldn't find anyone else to do the work (but we did find someone). I was really appreciative of his friendly demeanor and willingness to spend his time and give advice. He came across as an honest person who really cares about his customers and neighbors. I'd recommend you strongly consider his company for your project!

Mark, and his crew were always on time, friendly and fulfilled all promises. His crew started a few weeks early which was great, they finished our arbor and even after we asked for an additional extension and up grade they finished earlier than promised. Every time I called or texted Mark he answered the phone - you just don't get that these days! M&M workers swept and cleaned up after themselves every day. They moved all the plants and outdoor furniture back when job was completed.
Mark fully explained the building process to us, gave us many options for types and styles of materials. He was on site nearly every day to supervise the work and assist in any thing we might want. The completed job is beautiful and beyond our expectations. Mark and M&M builders were a pleasure to work with throughout the process and we highly recommend them to all. Mark and his expert crew did a first-class job of completely rebuilding our large and perilously distressed 2nd-story deck. Without fail, they were prompt, courteous, hard-working, conscientious, safety-first, and extremely skillful deck-builders. They took care to keep our household comings-and-goings unimpeded by their operations, and stayed patient and respectful of our over-protective German Shepherd. 
Our deck project presented a number of challenges, including tying in with other decks as well as sharing beams with house supports. Mark advised us from the start of the possibility that additional structural problems may be discovered during demolition that would need addressing. When a new issue did in fact appear, Mark carefully explained our options and the reasonable costs associated with each. 
We love our new Trex deck--strong, sleek, and beautiful. Thank you, Mark and crew, for your integrity and expertise! We sincerely recommend their services and would absolutely hire them again for a future project.
