 DECK OVER BASEMENT DOOR 

                 TheProblem                           The clients had a raised basement door right outside both back doors, it was a terrible problem, but what do you do about it? How about a installing a deck to cover it. 



 The framing process 

They still needed access to the basement, so we built a trap door into the deck.

 When the trap doors is closed, you can barely see the piano hinges and the latch was powder coated to match the deck color.
